Children in Need 2009

The children and staff all came in fancy dress to raise money for Children in Need. We are proud to have raised �171.82!!

In the case of school having to close early due to the weather then the school office will contact you. It is not necessary to phone school unless you wish to take your child out early because of your personal circumstances. As well as contacting parents, which is obviously time consuming, the school contacts BBC Radio Leeds who will broadcast the fact that the school is closed so it may be useful to listen to this station if possible! If you have access to the internet look on the Council�s website home page at www.calderdale.gov.uk, from here you will be signposted to the Emergency School Closures page. The Halifax Courier website (www.halifaxcourier.co.uk) also has information on local schools. If you need to enquire after the Yellow Bus please call them on 0113-348-1122 as the school has no information on their services.
