On September 26th Class 3 held a European Day of Languages. Miss Fisher held a special assembly and everyone thought about why it was important to speak other languages. Class 3 performed a French song called 'Bonjour' which was a real treat for the other juniors to watch and listen to.
In class the children listened to some German, Spanish and Greek. They even tried to speak a little bit too!
As Class 3 started to learn French this year so the European Day of Languages was also a great opportunity to find out more about France. We enjoyed finding out about French food - especially Pain au Chocolat!
At the moment Class 3 are busy rehearsing a new song with a festive flavour for the carol concert which is being held on the last day of term. They love the music to 'Le bonhomme be neige' (The Snowman) and are trying hard to learn and sing all the words. During assembly they will wish everyone a Joyeux Noel (Merry Christmas).
