Cocktail Party | ||||||

This week Y6 held it’s annual ‘Cocktail Party’ where the children learnt about eating healthily and the traditions of this event as well as designing an appealing plateful of ‘hors d’ouvres’. April’s was chosen as the best design by the rest of the class.
After this, everyone enjoyed eating their own design as they circulated and chatted in true ‘Cocktail Party’ fashion!
On Friday 25th September, Year 6 played host to Parents and Friends of the school at the annual Macmillan’s Coffee Morning.
The Year 6 children worked hard in their roles as –greeters, waiters and waitresses and ushers (to the younger children). They also helped to run the cake stall, the Tombola and the Raffle.
Well Done Year 6!
Everyone enjoyed themselves and the school made over £400.
We would like to thank all the parents and friends who supported this event.
Imogen in year 6 made this fantastic cake at home! She very kindly brought it into class for everyone to share, to celebrate her birthday. Thank you Imogen!!
