Cornholme school is the best school in Todmorden.Mrs Aherne my teacher is very kind.Antie Dot and the other dinner ladies make wonderful food.The teachers do lots of fun things for everyone at Cornholme school.

Cornholme school is a fabulous school and have great staff. y6 have a wonderful teacher called Mrs Walker she the kindeist teacher i have ever had in ages. Then theirs are delightful dinner ladies who make the most goreous dinners the last thing is, im glad i came here.

Wonderful website. So many memories. Unfortunately (or may be that should be fortunately ;)) no pics of me although my brother Andrew & cousin Alice are on there. I have such fond memories of Cornholme & Cornholme J&I, the 50 pence shaped tables, Mrs Sutcliffe, Mrs. Smith, Ms. Davies & Mr. Cunliffe.

I now live 5000 miles away in Vancouver, Canada. I went on to get a degree in Chemistry but am now trying to get hired as a police officer. I currently work for the Vancouver Police department as a police call taker.

I am very happy that my nephew Benjamin is keeping the family tradition going and is a student there.

Hi, I'm an ex pupil now in the second year of my A levels, I just wanted to say thanks to Cornholme for the brilliant start you gave me, especially Mrs Walker and Mrs Smith, nice to see you're still teaching. Just in case you're interested I'm in the third to last picture, which I'm guessing was nursery and as I left in 2000 the year would be '92, possibly '93, I'm the blonde girl with a big smile and a green jumper!
Thanks again for many happy times, I haven't forgotten Cornholme even though I've moved quite far away now, and if anyone knows anyone from the class which left in 2000 I'd be really interested.

It was really interesting going on your web site. It must take up a good deal of someones time to keep it up dated.The playground looks really good, loads better then when I used to work there as a senior dinnertime supervisor. My 2 brothers and sister were all taught at Cornholme Junior School from 1952 myself being the eldest.I remember aery well Johnny Graham, our head teacher and Molly Greenwood, another of our teachers. Johnny Graham, a later Mayor of Tod., used to take us on wlaks in the woods looking for leaves and fossils.
I now live in Beverley,Est Yorkshire but remember my school days at Cornholme school and later at Tod Grammar .
It was a nice surprise to see mention of Johnny Graham and a very nice surprise to see Molly Graham in the photos
Ileft Tod to join the R.A.F., and left Woodbine Terrace in Cornholme to experience the Big Wide World with the R,A.F. where I served until May 1976 when I left and came to Beverley where I still am although I always visit Tod every year when I biy a local calandar for the next year. Iam still waiting for the newsagent to offer to deliver it for me!!

I was looking at the photos of the flood in 1982, i remember it well. The main road was so deep in water that it was running onto the bus. I was only eight at the time and had just moved here in the March of that year. I had been on a walk along the canal near Walsden with my sister and dad when the rain started. One of my friends' at the time lived at the corner shop and while i was helping to clean out the back i was bitten by a water rat as it looked liked a piece of wood floating on top.Needless to say i panicked and my mum doused my hand with TCP, then took me to the doctors lol. I also remember one of my friends houses' (Steven Standring) collapsing into the road, (there is a picture of it on the website, it was just before the green metal railway bridge). Excellent website by the way.

Hi all at Cornholme - hopefully some of you will remember me. I miss everyone at Cornholme a great deal as I really liked teaching you all and working with the fantastic staff.
It is strange to think that the first class I taught there have now all gone off to high school! If any of you read this - I hope you are having a wonderful time.

Hi i hope ya all remember me. I am having a minters time at Crossley Heath. The website is very well setup its even better than my friends music video website that is great. Im have made loads of new friends at Crossleys and all of the people in year 6 dont worry about going to high school and come to crossleys. I hope the games are good on the website have a great time.
