Parent’s Evenings will be held on Monday 9th and Tuesday 10th October – You will have received a separate letter about these but I would like to let you know that Liz Sutcliffe, Calderdale’s Extended Schools co-ordinator will be in school to answer discuss / questions
West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service provide Home Fire Safety Checks, they are free of charge and include, where necessary, fitting new 10 year smoke alarms as well as giving general fire safety advice. Telephone 0800 587 4536.
We now have a large supply of Reading Book Bags so if you have been waiting to replace your child’s they cost £2.50 and are available from the office.
Every week our pile of lost property gets larger and larger - please label all your child’s clothing and check that they come home with everything they start the day in. We only keep items for 1 month and they are then disposed of!

and finally I wish to offer our very best wishes to Miss Fisher, Y3 teacher who is to be married during the half term holiday and will return to school as Mrs Aherne.
