One of the more unexpected finds was the Recipe Book, dating all the way back to 1899! Not only did it include recipes for Buns, Cakes and Pies, it also told us how to relieve Rheumatism and make our own floor polish!

Floor Polish was not readily available in the early 1900's, so hard working housewives had to make their own. After which, they would treat themselves to a home made Lemon Pie.
